It is of the oldest documented, codified scientific medical sciences in the world with a long history of results of clinical experiences. It is not only a system of medicine in the conventional sense that cures diseases, but also teaches us to adopt a way of life that maintain and conserve health and promote longevity. Ayurveda treats man as a “whole” which means combination of body, mind and soul, therefore, it is a truly holistic and integral medical system.
Twenty first century has brought us to a point of disillusionment with allopathic system of medicines and it has been proved that the herbal medical science based on the ancient Indian wisdom still has a lot to offer to humanity.
The Ayurveda is becoming popular day by day and is being adopted all over the world even by the most developed nations. Thus, gradually, it is getting global recognition............
About the College
The importance of Ayurveda has been realized owing to its natural origin and negligible toxicity of medicines, which happens to be in quite contrast to Western medical system that makes use of synthesized drugs. To follow such concepts &
conventions, Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College & Hospital was established in 1996 under the diligent guidance & dynamic leadership of Dr. Zora Singh, chairman of Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes.
Institution is imparting the quality education by incorporating impeccable infrastructure, enviable faculty, feasible research labs. & congenial atmosphere. The concepts and methodology of our rich traditional system of medicine i.e. Ayurveda is being inculcated amongst the students through BAMS course.
It has well equipped laboratories, museums, library, class-rooms, dissection hall, herbal garden, a modernized Ayurvedic pharmacy, a separate hospital wing and girls & boys hostel, situated on its campus expanding over more than 5 acres of land.
